Last week, we hosted a 2-day training event for TEI-supported playgroup practitioners, welcoming 30 enthusiastic participants to delve into the smalltalk program.
smalltalk comprises evidence-based parenting strategies aimed at enriching the home learning environment for children from birth to school age. With funding from DCJ, Fams and Parenting Research Centre plan to train 120 TEI playgroup practitioners in the initiative over the next year.
During the event, attendees partook in interactive sessions, networked with other facilitators, and engaged in lively discussions on implementing smalltalk.
