Fams has submitted a letter to the NSW Government regarding their inquiry into the prevalence, causes, and impacts of loneliness. Our submission emphasises two key points:
- We urge the Committee to prioritise strategies that support relational community-building and create spaces that turn isolation into connection, such as community centres and innovative service responses.
- We highlight the valuable insights shared by fellow peak bodies, LCSA and MHCC, in their detailed submissions.
You can read our letter here.
Check out the MHCC’s response and keep an eye out for LCSA’s submission for further insights.
