Following discussions with Fams and in response to requests from social sector service organisations, NCOSS has developed a COVID-19 Vax Risk Assessment Toolkit.
The Toolkit aims to help organisations navigate requirements and issues in deciding whether to mandate vaccination for their workers to keep their workplaces safe.
It is intended to help organisations think through ways to minimise COVID risks for everyone accessing their services, including clients, and develop their COVID-19 Management Plans.

The NSW Public Health Order rules requiring businesses to limit access to people who are fully vaccinated do not apply to where a service is “assisting vulnerable members of the public.”
The tool includes a Guide, a worksheet for conducting a vax risk assessment, and some examples. NCOSS has also started to collate materials and FAQs from other sources to provide useful resources in one place.
We’ll be updating and refining the tool in response to feedback and as things change. Suggestions and questions are most welcome, including expressing your interest in a webinar workshop to take you through the toolkit.
