Special Offer: NCOSS Conference Travel and Accommodation Subsidy

17 August 2022

This is your last chance to apply for free travel and accommodation during the NCOSS Conference in October 2022.

Fams is proud to be on the advisory group for the NSW Council of Social Service (NCOSS) ‘V3’ conference, to be held on 17-18 October 2022 in Sydney.

Fams will identify and recommend TWO subsidy recipients who would most benefit from attending this conference but might find it difficult with travel costs and distance.

The subsidy covers travel to Sydney (return flights or mileage reimbursement), and up to two nights’ accommodation in Rydges Sydney Harbour. The conference and dinner event are free to all attendees (eligibility criteria apply).

If you’re able to attend the conference and wish to apply for the travel subsidy, please complete the form below now. Cut-off is COB Friday 19 August.

Only select Yes if you’re from a not-for-profit community organisation that is operating in NSW with an annual revenue of under $5 million; and located in a regional or remote area (note: subsidy is available for Central Coast, Far West, Hunter, Illawarra/ Shoalhaven, Mid North Coast, Murrumbidgee, New England, Northern NSW and Southern NSW). The following are priority groups (in accordance to the Social Sector Transformation Fund grant): Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisations (ACCO); and a small organisation receiving the majority of their income from the NSW government.
Please state your nearest domestic airport. If travelling by car, approximately how many kms will be claimed?
(Max. 100 words)
Please submit this form before Friday 12 August. Fams will let you know if you have been successful, or are on an eligibility list, by 31 August 2022. NCOSS will be in touch with the successful travel subsidy recipients soon afterwards. Please list any questions you have in the space above. Note: This is an EOI form. Your application will be considered carefully according to the criteria listed above.

PLEASE NOTE: As travel subsidies are highly targeted, this invitation (including the EOI form) is not for further distribution to people outside your service/ organisation.

Thank you. We look forward to receiving your EOI!
