NSW Young Parents Needed for Vital Research

31 May 2022

Fams is seeking expressions of interest from services working with young parents in the community.

  • Has your service worked with groups of young parents aged 16-24 years in the past two years?
  • Would you consider taking part in a project which engages families in vital research?

Young parents are one of our most vulnerable groups, but little research has been done into their experiences.

Fams has commissioned Urbis, an independent firm, to research this group so the sector can better cater to their needs.

We are looking for young parents who have taken part in family work via telepractice – that is, online or telephone-based family work.

This research will be conducted through three or four deep dive focus groups with up to 10 NSW young parents aged 16 to 24 years.

Urbis will explore the pros and cons of telepractice within this demographic.

Are you interested in being involved? Please complete the EOI form below and we will be in touch.

Expression of Interest: Urbis Research Project
Note: Client privacy and confidentiality will be protected in this project. We will not be asking for the names or contact details of the parents involved.
